5.00 30 minutes An outrageous kids show (that adults could appreciate too) with a wacky host, puppets, sketches, blackouts and songs. This mayhem maven started in 1953 on a station in Detroit before going national on ABC and ultimately turning up in syndication. It was, literally, pie-in-the-face humor, with Sales claiming that he's had more than 25,000 whipped-cream facials. He was once given a week's suspension for asking young viewers to send him the `little green pieces of paper' from their dads' wallets.
